    Description


    Maverik/Kum & Go is searching for a Manager of Compensation that will create, administer, and optimize competitive and strategically differentiated compensation programs that align with the People Strategy and Team Member Value Proposition of Maverik/Kum & Go.

    This leader is accountable for programs outlining our compensation philosophy and guidelines, overseeing the market and merit processes, creating our short term and long-term incentive programs, the partnership with other People and Finance teams, and is accountable for the performance and engagement of a team of comp analysts.

    What you'll doLeadership over the compensation team including performance management, development, coaching and mentoring.

    Manages effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures as well as projects and teams for the implementation of new plans and processes.

    Manages the annual merit processes and prepares recommendations and reporting for senior leadership.
    Manages the development of the salary structures, oversees job evaluations, market pricing, benchmarking, and survey participation.
    Manages the annual and long-term incentive plans and other compensation and recognition programs.
    Manages relationships and contracts with outside service providers to administer and deliver required programs.
    Supports and recommends the selection of compensation vendors and services.
    Ensure compensation practices, programs and processes are in compliance with all federal and state requirements (i.

    Provides guidance and solutions to People Leadership Team, Managers, and Senior Leadership team on compensation related matters.
    Responsible for driving People initiatives related to total rewards.

    Makes recommendations for plan revisions as well as new plans that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and Total Rewards strategy.

    Provides analytical support for the design and administration of compensation programs.

    Provides recommendations on salary offers, specifically for challenging roles and markets to provide solutions and advise hiring managers and leaders to attract and retain candidates.

    Develops compensation plan designs, policies, and processes.
    Conducts research, data analysis, and advises management on proposals for plan design and improvements.
