Your Role

  • Conducting and managing functional hazard analysis and hazard detection
  • Conducting and managing Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis
  • Conducting and managing Fault Tree Analysis and Event Tree Analysis
  • Defining hazard mitigation measures
  • Supporting the Product Regulatory Compliance Engineer and IV&V team in defining test cases for functional safety
  • Assisting in defining system requirements for defined hazard mitigation measures
  • Supporting and reviewing the integration of hazard mitigation measures in system architecture and design
  • Coordinating activities related to functional safety with the Product Regulatory Compliance Engineer (PRSE) and Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist - Functional Safety (PRCS-FuSa)

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge of systems engineering (IEEE15288, IEEE12207)
  • Experience in requirements analysis
  • Knowledge of SysML/UML
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g. IEC61508, ED-153, etc.), system safety standards (e.g. MIL-STD-882, etc.), model-based systems engineering, and CSEP certification is desirable
