BPDL - Division Precast Specialities Corp is looking for a Quality Control Lead.
Job functions:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Interprets shop drawings and erection drawings with molds to determine that the product being produce is correctly matching what is drawn i
e:
dimensions, attachment inserts, reinforcement, embedded hardware, lifting hardware, color and finish.
- Inspects casting and batching process to confirm pieces are cast correctly and rebar, inserts and lifting hardware is correct and in the right locations.
- Places piece identification labels onto each piece after final inspection and confirmation of piece id.
- Interprets shop drawings and finish samples for finish requirements.
- Inspects finish panels to ensure correct final finish and color and makes recommendations as required.
- Inspects product for defects and recommends solutions for repair or replacement
- Works alongside batch plant operator to ensure mix designs is consistent and preforms fresh concrete tests per ACI standards.
- Evaluates data, completes forms, and writes reports to validate or indicate compliance or noncompliance from existing standards on panels.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality control or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment and plant capability.
Requirements:
- Precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing experience.
- Blueprint/ shop drawing reading ability and knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
- Ability to produce and maintain documents and reports in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Speak & read in English.
