Job Summary & Essential Functions
Provide support for production staff under the guidance of the supervisor.

  • Perform job responsibilities per applicable area job descriptions and target 20% onjob time charging to meet utilization targets
  • Independently issue work assignments with guidance from the supervisor and/or expeditor when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with processengineering teammates to ensure methods and processes are being followed as outlined in the assembly instructions, and equipment is being used as defined by the engineering team
  • Collaborate closely with the processengineering team to ensure 6S and FOD requirements are well understood by team members and employed on a daily basis
  • Coordinate activities to ensure tasks are completed on schedule in a cost effective manner
  • Evaluate timecharging activites of team members on a daily basis to ensure time charging accuracy and labor utilization targets are being met, while immediately addressing any significant variances
  • Ensure personnel utilize equipment and material that are in compliance for calibration, maintenance and material expiration dates
  • Directly provide training to team members or coordinate training when necessary to ensure the workforce is proficient in the tasks they are assigned to
  • Ensure personnel are familiar with Inventory, Human Resources and ISO policies and that their output meets published workmanship standards
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures and give feedback to those who are not properly following policies and/or procedures
  • Provide constructive feedback to employees on qualityrelated issues
  • Provide input to RCA investigations
  • Provide input to employee reviews and/or disciplinary issues
  • Support efforts to ensure targets for efficiency and utilization are achieved
  • Identify and work to resolve problems that develop; escalate problems encountered to the supervisor only when necessary and make recommendations for solutions
  • Support completion of reports and required paperwork
  • Help create a work environment that stimulates team work, innovation, and employee involvement
  • Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
  • Coordinate and conduct stand up meetings
  • Perform other assignments as required

  • Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire coworkers
  • Must be patient and able to train others
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to be forward thinking and adhere to deadlines and production schedules while collaborating with other departments
  • Must be able to multitask and respond to changing priorities
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable IPC workmanship standards
  • Ability to become proficient in tasks and equipment associated with assigned area
  • Computer skills helpful
