Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for a Manufacturing Engineer (1st shift).

Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

Manufacturing Engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of three (3) years in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for incorporating process improvements.

Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with equipment vendors, soliciting observations from operators.

Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.

Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Define requirements and monitor all aspects of process control as it relates to Summit manufacturing processes.

Develop and distribute job folder (quality plans).

Conduct engineering reviews on released work orders.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Requirements/Education:
Four-year degree in Engineering or closely related field or equivalent education and

work experience.

Minimum three (3) years in electronic contract manufacturing environment.

Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of areas of specialization.

Compensation/Benefits:
Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.

Pay Range for this position is $65, $75,000.00 annually based on experience.
