- Sets-up Procurement Operations function and manages enterprise-wide operational processes and performance for Procurement, globally.
- Creates a strong infrastructure with consistent foundational processes and impactful measurements.

- First line of response for questions from business and procurement personnel globally.
- Single point of accountability to educate end users, inform on policy questions, and provide status updates and monitoring.
- Resolve "one and done" requests or triage to appropriate party for resolution.
- Responsible for centralized operational work such as approvals, contracting, and management of CDAs.
- Designs optimal operating model for Procurement Operations and manages relationships with outsourced vendors to monitor performance and adherence to SLAs.
- Understands business and procurement needs to effectively prioritize and remove barriers to achieve successful outcome for these needs.
- Identifies and executes ongoing optimization and innovation of processes to achieve efficiencies and increase agility and efficiency of Procurement organization.
- Looks for opportunities to promote collaboration, best practice sharing, and synergies across Procurement, Finance Shared Services and
- People leader responsibilities, including hiring and placement to build the new function.
- Defines project KPIs and tracks reports on them to the leadership team.
- Sets up discipline for lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in science, Computer Science, Business, or Project Management required. Master's degree in Science, Business, or Project Management preferred
- 15+ years' experience in managing large complex programs and cross-functional teams. Procurement experience, desired.
- Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills, including the ability mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and executive.
- Requires excellent relationship management and communication skills, seasoned judgment, tact, and the ability to work effectively with personnel at varying levels within the organization.
- Requires strong people leadership skills.
- Relevant experience in budget and financial management, contracts, process improvements, and/or compliance.
- Recognized leader in standard business procedures such as program management, portfolio review, finance, and budgeting. Excellent cross-functional negotiating skills.
- Expert technology skills (e.g., MS Office software, SharePoint Skills) required.
