Facilities Management.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all building systems, managing maintenance staff, and coordinating facility projects.
Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management plans and strategies
- Manage all aspects of facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
- Oversee the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services
- Develop and manage the facility budget, including cost control measures and expense tracking
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of building systems
- Monitor energy usage and implement energysaving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate facility projects, including renovations, expansions, or relocations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities management or related field
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, logic controllers, and industrial maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with HVAC systems preferred
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff at all levels of the organization
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
