    Job DescriptionA hospital in Newburgh, NY is currently seeking to add a ICU Registered Nurse to join their team full-timeCheck out the details below:

    Title: Registered Nurse – ICU RN

    Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

    Setting: Intensive Care Unit

    Location: Newburgh, NY

    Schedule: Full-time, night shift 6:45 pm – 7: 30 am – varied shift, flexibility needed. Weekends are required. No on-call.

    Pay: $48 - $62 depending on experience

    The ICU Registered Nurse's duties to include but not be limited to:

    • Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
    • Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
    • Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.
    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    • New York State Registered Nurse license required, or permit.
    • Current and active BLS certification.
    • Staff that are assigned to work in the Emergency Department must complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training on a bi annual basis.
    • All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete a basic Dysrhythmia course and competency.
    • All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete ACLS within 6 months of hire.
