We are currently looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team full-time to support our variety of customers. • Audit and monitor quality requirements on a line in accordance with the company quality assurance policies.
• Conduct inspections: in-process, in-coming, final inspections, and dock audits on occasion.
• Initiate non-conformance reports as required.
• Document and report inspection findings and results; and monitors corrective actions to inspection findings.
• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and specification requirements.
• Read and interpret specifications and part visual inspection sheets.
• Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
• Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs the assembly non-conformities and communicates information to production department.
• Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products.
• Ensure that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances, and ensures readability of labels.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all safety, quality, and production work rules and regulations.
• Good attendance.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and associated software.
• Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, height gages are an added plus.
• Previous experience performing Quality Audits / Inspections preferred.
• Familiar with NWA statistical software a plus.
• Good understanding of problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis and PDCA investigation.
• User of Six Sigma, SPC and Lean Continuous Improvement preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible and be able to work 12 hours when necessary.
