Duties and responsibilities of the Quality Supervisor include:
Coaching, training and mentoring Quality Associates
Leading quality improvements
Finding root cause of issues and implementing corrective actions
Using quality control tools
Investigating and resolving issues
Preparing quality documentation and paperwork (FMEA, Control Plans, CPK)
Requirements for the Quality Supervisor position include:
A degree is preferred, not required
Previous supervisory experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Previous automotive quality manufacturing experience
Experience with PPAP, 8D, FMEA, SPC, CpK analysis, etc. Any quality certifications are a plus (ISO auditor, CQE, Six Sigma, etc.)
