Position Overview:

The Warehouse Material handlers will be responsible for moving and storing of raw materials and packaging components using machinery (forklifts and pallet jacks).

Requirement to handle and process materials in inventory system always following cGMP processes. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

This is an active Pharmaceutical constriction/warehouse site.
Full PPE will be mandatory to wear (provided by client)

Manager is interested in candidate who have previous experience in a warehouse as material handlers, with forklift operating, electric pallet jacks***If candidate has previous forklift license the manager would be very willing to interview.

All candidates will have to get forklift certification (client certification) onsite
Role will also be client facing daily-receiving instructions on day to day tasks
Candidate will also be trained through client courses-learning and certification (laptop provided)

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Move materials manually using material handling equipment within the Concord site following the directions of Warehouse supervisor or lead.
Follow all safety requirements and procedures. Routinely inspects area for health and safety issues. Maintain a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE corporate and site goals.
Perform manual material transfer (pallet to pallet transfer) as assigned by the supervisor and following the relevant SOP s.
Follow all cGMP, and other regulatory requirements. Participate in quality initiatives and audits. Compliance to FDA, EMEA, DEA, OSHA, IDEM, EPA and other applicable regulations.
Maintain learning plan at 100% current.
Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities.
Perform transactions in SAP if required using RF guns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Must Haves:

Certified to operate assigned powered industrial trucks or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment start***Candidate will also be trained through client courses-learning and certification (laptop provided)

Education:

Minimum education:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal)
Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges.
Ability to use Computer tools (desktop, MS Office) and electronic tools (Scan guns and tablets).

Sponsorship Language:
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
Ability to pick-up / move up to 50-pound containers.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team across various areas.

Additional Skills/ Preferences
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies

Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, OSHA and EPA.

Demonstrated solid judgment and initiative.
Ability to use technology tools such as Scan guns, tablets and laptops strongly preferred.
Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexible and willing to work overtime.
Proactive and self-motivated to support team initiatives and in solving business problems.
Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time and make decisions regarding prioritization.
Previous experience with materials handling and inventory management systems.
Previous warehouse/logistics experience in a cGMP environment.

Additional Information
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed.
Tasks may require handling hazardous materials following safety procedures.
