    Description
    CCIE Engineer - Contract (6 to 12 months) - Morrisville, NC

    Pay:
    $83/hr on W2

    Must have an active CCIE certification.

    Seeking a skilled CCIE Engineer proficient in Nexus, data center operations, route switching, and Cisco
    UCSfor a pivotal role in network optimization and deployment.


    Must-Have Skills:
    Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

    Responsibilities:

    Routing Migration:
    a new eBGP network in collaboration with infrastructure staff.
    and building a scalable BGP network design, accommodating multiple vendors in a common IP space.
    in integrating multiple vendors into the edge network design and providing comprehensive documentation.
    and testing new edge network designs in a lab environment before production deployment.


    Core Network Architecture:
    with external consultants to devise and implement a new leaf and spine architecture for the core L3 network.
    migration strategies and deployment plans for transitioning to the new architecture.
    and ensuring proper operation of new Juniper routers in the test lab before production deployment.


    Documentation, Training, and Support:
    all deployments and challenges encountered, providing comprehensive training to infrastructure staff.
    staff on the new network design and providing training on system security plan development.
    assistance and training on monitoring application usage and tuning strategies.


    Datacenter Design and Deployment:
    to design and deploy a new core and datacenter switching infrastructure.
    stress and failure testing in a POC environment and integrating it with the production environment.
    Juniper Apstra appliances and providing training on their usage.
