The NOC Engineer Tier 1 position is a key contributor in the success of managing our client's endpoints. This is achieved by quickly resolving incidents that our clients open tickets for and by constantly monitoring the alerts generated by our tools to resolve incidents before our clients are aware

• Provides troubleshooting methodologies to independently solve problems in broad, complex & unique networks with mixed media & protocols.
• Entry level / CCNA proficiency and associated experience supporting Cisco network products and protocols as well as command of executional best practices.
• Initial Point of Contact for incident management and escalation of incidents to ensure issue resolution.
• Provide support to internal and external customers during critical service related issues.
• Ability to get to an understanding of customer expectations and manage or set proper expectations
• Ability to support either day or night shifts that aligned to a 24x7x365 team supporting customer mission critical environments.
• Use excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

• +2 Year R/S Experiencemostly layer 2 and 3, some 4 of the OSI model.
• Sole US Citizenship with Active Top Secret Clearance

• Previous NOC experience
