ABOUT THE POSITION:


The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the dispensary, including but not limited to, developing and managing a professional team of staff that is passionate about cannabis and providing an outstanding experience for customers.

The Retail Manager must have exceptional problem-solving abilities, a deep understanding of day-to-day operations and workflow, and provide real time assistance to staff members in need.

The Retail Manager is responsible for daily oversight of the Inventory Department, the movement of product on site, and accurate inventory control.

This includes comprehension of our product software and tracking of the various stages of production within the software.

The Retail Manager will report to the Director of Retail Operations and Director of Inventory to organize efforts and allocate resources effectively.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - RETAIL MANAGER


Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies and procedures to advance the company's mission, vision, goals and objectives.

Monitor and ensure the Retail's compliance with security, inventory, and all other relevant compliance and/or legal regulations.

Uphold all Inventory policies and procedures with a heavy emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas.


Oversee and manage product inventory, cash handling and on-site financial records, and development and maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations and financials of the Retail.


Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and direct the activities of staff members.

Monitor and communicate with Retail leadership regarding performance of Retail employees on a regular basis and make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, and termination or advancement of employees.

Seek out and provide education and development for staff about cannabis products and customer service techniques.

Oversee and ensure the ongoing maintenance of the company's professionalism. i.e. cleanliness, customer experience, displays, menus, product quality, etc.

Scheduling of staff to achieve productivity and sales goals. Includes appropriately analyzing shift labor needs.

Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry

Supervision of Retail / Leads, ensuring proper completion of Tasks.


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Sound understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, sales tracking, and visual merchandising

Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends to make informed business decisions

Proficiency in managing customer service issues and resolving conflicts in a professional and timely manner

Solid knowledge of product assortment and industry trends to optimize sales opportunities

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to train, develop, and mentor employees to enhance their performance and contribute to the success of the team


PAY AND BENEFITS:

$45,000 Base
