Description
Working under supervision and adhering to Ambulatory Services policies and procedures, the Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in providing patient care within a dynamic multi-specialty group practice.
Responsibilities encompass a wide range of personal care and nursing procedures, all aimed at ensuring positive patient outcomes.The Medical Assistant is responsible for executing assigned patient care and laboratory tasks in support of the primary and specialty care services offered by the practice.

Department Description
Required Qualifications
- Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of three months experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting.
- Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
- Experience with EMR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using EPIC and/or APeX
License/Certification
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
