Responsibilities:

Ensures clinical treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and as applicable family empowerment
Provides individual and group therapeutic/counseling services to clients
Establishes a rapport with the client and appropriate significant others that facilitates a collaborative review of assessment information and treatment options
Works collaboratively with the client and appropriate others to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses priority needs of the client, desired treatment outcomes, an agreed upon plan of action, and reassessment plan
Involves referral resources and other outside client support services as part of the treatment team to meet the needs of the client, sharing appropriate information and treatment objectives within the limits of confidentiality and professional practice
Actively works with client's family, and/or significant others to develop a shared understanding of client's support needs, associations between problem and home environment/family dynamics, and strategies for assisting in client's recovery
Responds in a timely manner to requests for client information from other providers, insurers, legal contacts, and referral sources
Documentation Maintaining strict client confidentiality, HIPAA compliance
Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission accreditation regulations and standards
Supervision of Clinical Techs and Operational staff required and varies depending on location and program
