About the Role:


The Data Visualization Graphic Designer is developing, implements, and supports the usage of data visualization toolkits, configuration, deployment, and usage.

Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with our team to understand the objectives and target audience of the Tableau Dashboard.
  • Reviewing the existing dashboard design and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing creative solutions to enhance the visual appeal, user experience, and visual narrative of the dashboard.
  • Creating wireframes and design mockups to illustrate proposed changes and improvements.
  • Implementing design changes within the constraints of the Tableau platform, ensuring compatibility with digital platforms.
  • Providing iterative design revisions based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Assisting in identifying and maintaining a cohesive visual narrative throughout the project.
  • Working directly with staff, brand marketing and digital marketing to effectively deliver and communicate our brand through conceptualizing and producing graphic art and visual materials for retail, wholesale and trade shows that adhere to brand standards
  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, particularly in digital design and visual narrative, including experience with spatial visualizations (mapping).
  • Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Validating dashboard elements for data visualization
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for wireframing and digital design.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Capable of implementing best practices for digital accessibility and inclusiveness.
  • Detailoriented with a passion for creating visually appealing and userfriendly designs.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • General experience in demographics and health statistics
