As part of a planned parental leave replacement, we are looking for
you as an experienced
logistics specialist (m/f/d) on a fixed-term contract for 2 years to support our international shipping.

Your responsibilities

  • After appropriate training, you will be responsible for packaging and transport planning.
  • Compilation of all documents for the delivery of our products, including checking all export permits and letters of credit, as well as handling special transports with freight forwarders and authorities.
  • Customs clearance of our exports, from creating the ATLAS notification to deregistering from customs procedures (e.g. processing traffic).
  • Obtaining quotes for transport and packaging services and awarding contracts to our service providers.
  • Verification of preferential origin based on evaluated parts lists, various calculation documents, taking into account the respective origin rules of customs agreements.
  • Issuing of certificates of origin and certificates of movement for certification by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and customs authorities, as well as statistical reports.
Your profile

  • Completed training as a freight forwarder and further training as a transport specialist or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional experience in transport and customs clearance (ATLAS system, creating export declarations, project handling).
  • Knowledge of foreign trade and customs clearance, as well as dangerous goods and transport damage handling.
  • Basic knowledge of import processing.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (especially SAP/R3).
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
