JOB SUMMARY
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

- Float to a variety of Medical/Surgical units, Telemetry, and Oncology units.
- Apply nursing and scientific principles to assess patients continuously.
- Evaluate patients' potential for wellness and response to different treatment strategies.
- Review charts and incorporate interdisciplinary findings to enhance care plans and outcomes.
- Evaluate nursing care effectiveness using established standards.
- Adapt and adjust care plans to meet the required level of care consistently.
- Document relevant patient assessment and care details during each shift.
- Promote and implement patient and family-centered care.
- Communicate laboratory results, radiological findings, and significant changes in patient status to physicians.
- Manage pre and post-operative/procedural patient care following hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to patient needs.
- Accurately implement the medical care plan based on treatment priorities.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure their completion.
- Demonstrate expertise in pain assessment and implement suitable pain management strategies.
- Apply restraints only when clinically justified, monitor patients, and document as per protocols.
- Incorporate cultural diversity into all aspects of patient care.
- Recognize and respond effectively to patient emergencies.
- Verify the accuracy of physician orders transcription.

Educational Skills Required:
Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License; Ability to perform all necessary competencies of the position.

Work Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse Experience is necessary.

Additional Information:

- Annual Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
