For over 60 years, TPC Wisconsin, formerly Cherokee Country Club, has served as Madison's only private facility to offer an 18-hole golf course, all-season golf range, indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball, athletic training facility and outdoor pool.
Our Champions Grille and event spaces host casual and fine dining opportunities of intimate proportions, 30 or less, and large celebrations of 200 plus guests.
TPC Wisconsin also provides PGA recognized and award-winning golf instruction and fitting programs, structured member events, and social events for the whole family all year long.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invoice processing
- Assist with item receipts, entering new items as needed and printing of inventory labels
- Become fully knowledgeable with Clubessential and be a resource to others as needed
- Assist members and guests with any questions, concerns, etc., both online and in person
- Assist with member account management (additions, cancellations, billing changes, etc.)
- Reconciling daily sales batches and ensure accuracy
- Timely prepares and analyses monthly reports for submission to the Controller
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reconciliations of G/L accounts
- Reconcile monthly promo account activity
- Reconcile monthly commissions for lessons and club fitting
- Preparing and analyzing monthly forecasts and costbenefit analysis
- Preparing of annual budgets
- Communicate with Department Heads in a professional manner to achieve operational goals of the department
- Serve as functional backup to Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable/Billing functions
- Assist with golf operations administrative duties
- Having a strong background in retail merchandise ordering and inventory control preferred.
- Perform additional duties that may arise or be assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience
- Perform work accurately and in a timeefficient manner, with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through
- Strong computer skills, including solid skills in the Microsoft Office suite
- A basic understanding of accounting and tax rules
- Maintain a professional demeanor with coworkers and clients

- Accurate and timely reporting and completion of financial tasks
- Accurate and timely completion of assigned projects and tasks
- Timely and clear communication with members

Pay:
$55, $60,000.00 per year
