R Security Specialist, Mid
Key Role:
Execute administration and coordination of client security programs to ensure compliance with DoD and organization security policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with security standards and provide guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, and physical security.
Administer physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property. Develop and conduct security briefings and security education programs. Provide oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as proprietary information. Assist with the preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications. Process incoming VARs via DISS or transmissions.Contribute to the continuing eligibility program for personnel using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), and e-QIP.
Contribute to the development, review, and disposition of standing operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for level requirements.Basic Qualifications:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
