- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of experience as a System Administrator OR high school diploma with 20 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Experience with both Windows and Linux
- Windows and Linux patching
- VMware/ESXi
- Networking Switch – VLAN setup and VMware virtual NIC config for isolation
- Active Directory configuration and support
- Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting
- STIG hardening recommendations
- Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
- Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
