    ARC-One Solutions is creating a next-generation Blood Establishment Computer Software (BECS) platform along with an extensive series of materials designed to provide their partners with robust software that is simple to implement and supports safe, efficient, and compliant regulated blood supply chain management. ARC-One Solutions was created in April 2020 through a partnership between two of the largest blood centers in the country, the American Red Cross and OneBlood. ARC-One Solutions has the privilege and responsibility to assist these organizations in fulfilling over 50% of the nations blood supply needs. Once implemented, their software will process approximately 10 million products across 56 states and territories.

    We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Manager at ARC-One Solutions. The base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $165,000 as a full-time W2 employee of ARC-One Solutions. Actual pay will be determined based upon a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, geographic location, and may include other job-related factors such as certification(s), professional licensure, or internal equity considerations.

    Overview

    Leads a multi-disciplined, highly technical team in implementing and continuously improving infrastructure technology that aligns with corporate goals and improves business outcomes. Focuses on the technology selection, deployment, and operations that ensure the infrastructure environments support targeted levels of availability, capacity, continuity, security, and enables the companys strategic direction.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides broad infrastructure leadership and expertise by directing research, architecture, design and development of new business services
    • Manages and leads a team of Cloud Operations Engineers who are tasked with ensuring our uptime guarantees to the customer base
    • Monitors and detects emerging customer-facing incidents on the cloud platform; assists in their proactive resolutions
    • Works closely with IT security to monitor the companys cloud privacy
    • Documents requirements for Multi-Cloud IT infrastructure Solutions
    • Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines to include application and security testing and allowing for development teams to own the pipeline process from end-to-end
    • Produces, enhances, and executes the deployment of automated tools to increase efficiencies across the organization
    • Effectively communicates solutions architecture to management as well as to business stakeholders and the project teams
    • Diagnoses live incidents, differentiates between platform issues versus usage issues, and takes the next steps toward resolution
    • Cooperates with our product management and engineering teams by identifying areas for improvement in the management applications powering the BECS infrastructure and providing high-quality feedback and recommendations regarding product defects or recurring patterns of malfunctions
    • Automates routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks
    • Informs executive leadership and management personnel of major outages
    • Coordinates and participates in a weekly on-call rotation, as needed

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university; supplemented by seven (7) or more years of experience in an IT Technical and or Management position, including at least five (5) years of supervisory or management experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and Designations

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to lead and or/manage some, or all, of the following disciplines; Cloud Services Engineers, Network and Server Operations, Data Center Strategies, IT security technology and management, Disaster / Recovery, Mobile Device technologies
    • Strong technical knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture, network and PC operating systems, including Linux OS, VMWare, Databases, Enterprise Storage, Active Directory, Cisco etc.
    • Proven experience and project management skills in cloud infrastructure designing, planning, developing and implementing infrastructure solutions with excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required
    • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
    • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and deliver results within project timelines in a high-pressure environment
    • Exceptional customer service orientation and experience working in a team- oriented, collaborative environment
    • Ability to build strong business and supplier relationships that ensure the successful delivery of IT services; present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
    • Ability to lead, influence and motivate others in cross-disciplinary, virtual, integrated teams in a collaborative fashion
    • Ability to influence and to drive consensus and adoption of complex strategies and concepts
    • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
