AHFC GOALKEEPER DIRECTOR
Implement the program's strategic plan in accordance with AHFC's vision working in concert with the Program Directors. Ensure policies, strategic goals and objectives are in place to achieve customer satisfaction and program's KPIs. Assist the Programs served to achieve AHFC's benchmarks and measurements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development

  • Ensure the goalkeeper strategy is communicated to your internal and external customers as well as supports each program strategy in accordance with the club's objectives and goals
  • Assist with the development of the AHFC goalkeeping curriculum in accordance with AHFC's overall philosophy and core values
  • Implement program strategy by working together with the Directors who maintain the teams; responsible for suggesting adjustments to better meet the needs of the goalkeepers and the teams.
  • Promote AHFC's vision internally (Program Directors and staff coaches), the customer base (parents and players), industry peers and for college coaches, if applicable, to ensure consistent execution
  • Effective communicate to all internal and external customers, Administration, Board of Directors, volunteers and parents
  • Review the Parent Education Program with the Program Director and modify to meet your program's needs
  • Identify and execute opportunities for the goalkeeper program and club growth
  • Utilize and expand existing relationships with key partners, industry leaders and college coaches, if applicable, to gain a better understanding of the customers need, market trends and to increase player college placement opportunities
  • Manage and monitor new initiatives and programs that will benefit your program and the overall success and progress of the club

Program Maintenance

  • Create and maintain the GK training schedule
  • Oversee and ensure the AHFC AR policy is enforced for your program
  • Ensure AHFC's player expectations and policy rules are consistency enforced
  • Promote the goalkeeper program through social media postings and promote these accounts as well as all AHFC accounts
  • Ensure your High School players are registered in AHFC's College Bound system and the information is maintained
  • Monitor and report on player practice attendance, game reports and general communication for your program
  • Recruit outside players and retain existing players to maintain and improve overall program standards
  • Ensure game strategy and performance follow AHFC goalkeeping philosophy
  • Attend and contribute as required at Director & Program meetings
  • Ensure AHFC Health, Safety and Risk Management standards are implemented and improve
  • Current knowledge required of all local, state and national programs and leagues, including but not limited to: USYS, US Club, and ECNL
  • Implement the coaching curriculum
  • Assist inhouse, inservice training for the development and learning of all club coaches and directors

Player & Team Development

  • Ensure player development standards are met through player evaluations and effective training sessions in line with player's ability as outlined by the curriculum
  • Understand player's impact on team, both to the team they are joining and leaving if there is player movement
  • Set a positive example for staff coaches in all aspects of your job and position
  • Be familiar with your program players to facilitate team formation and appropriate player placement
  • Develop and promote best players into Elite teams with a plan to backfill the campus teams prior to making any adjustments
  • Coordinate with the Program Directors regarding player's impact on teams (leaving and receiving)
  • Understand AHFC college bound players, their target colleges and ensure college programs are made aware of them

All other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & LICENSES

  • NSCAA Level 3 or equivalent
  • 7 years of coaching and/or playing experience
  • Driver's License
  • Social Media and public relations skills
  • Proficient verbally and in writing
