Who we're looking for
Connected Technologies is a newly formed group within Toyota, focused on delivering industry-leading user experiences and new technologies for our Toyota and Lexus vehicles. We're looking for a passionate and highly motivated Systems Design & Architecture Engineer II for our DCM Engineering Group.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing DCM technical and evaluation specifications and lead any DCM technical discussions with both internal & external teams. You'll be responsible for collaborating with team members while overseeing the end-to-end life of DCM product strategic planning, development, launch, and quality validation/metrics.
We're looking for someone who is 'process improvement' minded to coordinate and drive product improvement initiatives in cross functional teams while working with partner organizations, division stakeholders, suppliers, and TMC. You'll also work with future generation product development teams to communicate lessons learned and avoid repeating past issues as well as support planning future product changes/improvements, including design, development & stakeholder review.
Finally, a successful candidate will conduct quality testing/validation (including joint integration testing) and support launch planning for changes or improved features before releasing to the public. Use your strong written and presentation skills to write/present reports on test results, project statuses, issue RCAs, and technical study summaries to executives and other leadership.
Join us as we grow and lead the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We support, celebrate, and thrive on the opportunity to provide Mobility for All. Are you results-driven, deeply innovative, and interested in working on a team dedicated to building products and services that are beautifully designed, intuitive, predictive, convenient, and relevant? If so, we want to talk to you
What you'll be doing
During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. A few highlights include:
Belonging at Toyota
