This position is responsible for working directly on site with Project Management, executing the self-performing contractor process from start to finish.

This position requires team-oriented individuals able to plan all day to day site activities and ensure proper coordination with the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As the leader of your jobs CCS's expectations for
    safety will be high.
  • Daily safety walks
  • Review all JSA's daily
  • Biweekly safety reports
  • Lead by example
  • Attend safety meetings on site and at the office
  • Weekly toolbox talks
  • Attend
    meetings both on site and off
  • Schedule meetings
  • Coordination meetings
  • Safety meeting on site and office
  • Foreman meetings at the office
  • Order standard
    materials:
  • Work w/ PM on long lead materials
  • Track all materials and delieveries

  • Order equipment and manage proper use

  • Daily Reporting

Workforce Management:


  • Coordinate CCS manpower on assigned projects
  • Plan and stay ahead of you workforce
  • Have the work planned days/weeks ahead of the work
  • Build strong teams. Instruct and develop the teams, what/how to do the assigned tasks
  • Coordinate all CCS subcontractors on assigned projects

Scope/Spec/Building the Job:


  • Understand CCS project requirements
  • Thorough review of CCS scope to ensure complete understanding of contract requirements
  • Thorough review of plans/specs to ensure complete understanding of how to complete our installations
  • Assist in value engineering

Layout:


  • Take the lead on this, even if we use a laser for layout
  • Ensure all layout is per current drawing revisions
  • Spot check layout for accuracy

Solutions:


  • Develop proactive solutions and eliminate roadblocks (ideal solutions will increase efficiently and reduce costs)

Change Management:


  • Review all project change orders and assist PM on estimates
  • Ensure approved changes are incorporated into the construction
  • Write up & track all work orders on T&M work

Sales/Honesty/Integrity:


  • You are the front line for CCS
  • If you can't make something happen don't say you can
  • Make a good name for yourself and CCS
  • Do what you say, say what you do
  • Lead by example
  • Know your job better than ANYONE else

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all involved parties (Client, A/E, contractors and team members)
  • Selfmotivated and eager to expand our growing customer base and forge new relationships, creative in finding new opportunities.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Superintendent of carpentry/general trades construction projects ranging from $10 thousand to $10 million.
  • Recent experience in K12, higher education, healthcare, local government, tenant build out will be viewed very favorably.
  • Familiarity with Prolog, Plangrid, Textura, and Edge software a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent experience.

$65, $110,000.00 per year
