Overview:


As a Patient Care Coordinator at BluePearl, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and support for our pet parents during their visits.

You will be the primary point of contact, providing a welcoming and efficient experience while coordinating various aspects of patient care in an emergency hospital setting.


Responsibilities:


  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to pet parents, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with any needs or concerns.
  • Coordination and Support: Act as a liaison between clients, veterinarians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently and remaining composed during emergency situations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinary professionals and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Professionalism: Present a polished and professional demeanor at all times, especially during critical or highstress situations.
  • Communication: Engage effectively with clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills, interpersonal communication skills, and empathy.
  • Training and Development: Show a keen interest in continuous learning and development, staying updated on veterinary protocols and best practices.
  • Availability: Be flexible with working hours, including weekend evenings, to accommodate client needs and practice operations.
  • Personal Attributes: Display a helpful and compassionate attitude, with a passion for improving client experiences and patient outcomes.
  • Initiative and Growth: Take initiative in improving processes and services, contributing to the growth and success of the practice.

Qualifications:


  • Extensive handson customer service experience, preferably in a medical or veterinary setting.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience and streamline the processes within the practice.
  • Work along side the reception and medical staff to ensure patients receive the best spectrum of care possible.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Available nights & weekends when patient flow is at it's highest.
  • Adaptability to varying workloads and changing priorities.
  • Interest in veterinary medicine and a desire to advance within the field.
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer care and patient support.
