    Description

    Correctional Case Manager

    CoreCivic is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Case Manager to provide exceptional care to inmates and residents. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management, classification, and transitional services. Some of your tasks will include:

    • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing information about individuals during intake
    • Providing direct casework services to inmates/residents for social involvement, health needs, and community life
    • Preparing various reports and developing case presentations on assigned inmates/residents
    • Coordinating appropriate programming, resources, and services in preparation for transition or release from the facility
    • Acting as point of contact in absence of Unit Manager, when applicable

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
    • Experience in case management services is preferred, additional experience in a criminal justice field may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis up to two years
    • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required
    • A valid driver's license is required
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
