- Oversee the Foundry Process Engineering function and Pattern Shop operations.
- Implement a culture of safety, lean manufacturing, and performance metrics.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements and provide necessary operational details.
- Create and modify technical documentation related to production processes.
- Review and respond to customer complaints, collaborating with customers on design and development.
- Hold production or products as necessary until released or scrapped.
- Generate quotations for pattern creation or modification.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar field.
- 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory/management role in manufacturing.
- 5-7 years' experience in foundry engineering.
- Proficiency with casting simulation software, with experience in MAGMA Soft preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software.
- Demonstrated experience in team management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and capital project management.
- Experience with technical documents, specifications, and standards.
- In-depth knowledge of foundry engineering principles and processes.
- Strong casting simulation skills, particularly with MAGMA Soft.
- Knowledge of pattern making processes is advantageous.
- Ability to generate and manage various reports.
- Proficiency in team management and fostering a safe working culture.
- Excellent computer skills.

Position Summary:
Bradken is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Foundry Engineering Manager. Reporting directly to the VP Operations, this role holds responsibility for overseeing the safe and efficient operations of the Foundry Process Engineering function and the Pattern Shop. The successful candidate will drive a culture of safety, lean manufacturing, and performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities include ensuring product compliance with customer requirements, overseeing technical documentation, managing customer complaints, and spearheading process and product improvement initiatives.
