The Mobile Technician II provides on-going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.
- Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom
- Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms technology
- Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices
- Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology
- Maintain technology inventory for the building(s) assigned
- Install or update apps / software as directed
- Be proactive, communicate and escalate issues to the next level of support
- Assist in maintaining a high level of security on the district network
- Perform other tasks or services consistent with the job goal of this position that a supervisor may assign.
Requirements include:
- Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred
- Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
- Detailoriented
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues
- Positive interpersonal communication ability and selfmotivation
