Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a
Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team in
Huntington Beach, California.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Acquires resources, provides technical management of personnel, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Institutes and complies with lean practices throughout the manufacturing area.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 1 year of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
More than 1 year of experience in implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher.
More than 1 year of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, mentoring.
More than 1 year of work experience leading or managing cross functional teams.
More than 1 year of experience supporting Boeing Operations
Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Management.
More than 1 year of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
More than 1 year of experience in using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools.
More than 1 year of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS).

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Summary pay range:
$103,700 - $140,300
