CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Being the first point of contact for current Release of Information support specialists.
- Managing work flow and schedules.
- Make sure staff is meeting required benchmarks.
- Processing release of information requests for medical records in accordance to Privacy Act of 1976 and departmental policies.
- Answering incoming phone calls.
- Assisting walk in customers.
- Reviewing incoming requests, assuring validity, and entering into the request database.
- Sending routine correspondence to external providers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Release of information experience
Team Lead/Manager/Supervisory experience
Customer Service Skills
Attentive, respectful, able to resolve issues with mínimal intervention by leadership
Organizational Skills
Efficiently multitask, detail oriented, able to meet and adhere to deadlines and work autonomously when needed
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work in a team oriented environment with effective verbal and written communication
Computer/Technology Skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with electronic medical records.

Pay:
From $27.00 per hour
