At Med X Society for Medical Expertise, our team of Medical Consultation is growing. Our strength lies in our professional expertise, with a large portion of our 200 employees being specialists from all areas of the healthcare system. With offices in Hamburg and Dortmund, we work in healthcare management and hospital billing audits. To strengthen our teams, we are currently looking for a Physician (m/f/d) with several years of experience in general medicine, neurology, psychosomatics, orthopedics, or rehabilitative medicine as a medical expert (m/f/d) in part-time or full-time for our office in Hamburg or Dortmund.

Your tasks:
  • Your main focus will be on creating medical opinions on outpatient and inpatient service requests on the payer side. This includes the medical examination, evaluation, and assessment of cost coverage requests, cost estimates, invoices, medical certificates, and expert opinions.
  • Your tasks also include medical consultation in assessing insurability and in legal disputes regarding disputed claims for benefits.
  • You will advise the employees of our case and healthcare management department on disease progressions and necessary diagnostic and therapeutic measures with the aim of optimizing medical care while avoiding under- or over-treatment.
