Description

Ubica Robotics GmbH is a successful start-up based in Grundy Center, IA with around 40 employees. We develop, produce, and distribute autonomous scanning robots for stationary retail and support them in digitizing their processes.

As a working student in our hardware development team, you will actively contribute to the further development of our robots and gain insight into the work of a technology start-up.

Your tasks

Creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts
Testing of electronic components and creation of test setups
Wiring of test setups and manual soldering of individual components
Assembly and integration of electrical components into robots and building prototypes
Creation of documentation for electronic components and testing procedures

What you bring

Studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar with at least two successfully completed semesters
Experience in simulation and creation of circuits and layouts (Spice, KiCAD)
Basic interest in robotics and developing your own electronics
Enjoyment of working independently in an interdisciplinary team
Ideally good English and German skills
