Job Description:
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining master item data in the ERP system, maintaining data integrity and work directly with suppliers, buyers and branches to ensure data updates are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- This is not a remote position. Hybrid option may be available after training._
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for data entry into the ERP and any associated systems.
- Maintains integrity of the Item Master and pricing databases.
- Serves as primary point of contact for divisions and Suppliers on price and item changes.
- Performs Supplier price changes and updates Supplier item data.
- Identifies and resolves issues due to missing or erroneous data, regardless of whether the system provides warnings or error messages.
- Provides service and support to the field by responding promptly to requests.
- Maintains awareness of relevant department level service level agreements (SLA's) and works to ensure agreements are met.
- Supports M&A activities when necessary.
- Any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree:
Bachelor's Degree preferred (but not required)
Special Requirements:
Overtime, weekends, and travel as needed
EXPERIENCE
Minimum experience:
Minimum 5 years
Legal Age Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Attention to Detail

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
