    What You'll Do:

    Do you have strong disability claims and change leadership experience? Are you passionate about mentoring and development of others?

    As a Disability Claims Manager in our Life & DI Claims area, youll lead a team of Claims Analyst and Consultants ensuring a high level of performance and customer service through talent management, operational planning and process improvements

    Below are some of the responsibilities and duties for this role:

    • Assist in developing the strategic plan for the team. Develop and execute the operational plan and measures ensuring it meets organizational objectives.
    • Facilitate continuous process improvement through identification, action planning and execution. Ensure accurate metrics are in place.
    • Lead and direct staff, including hiring, training, talent management, compensation administration, rewards and recognition, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
    • Manage the budget process and make fiscally responsible decisions.
    • Monitor and communicate business developments, ensuring operations are in line with changes needed to serve customers and remain competitive.

    Who You Are:

    Who you are

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • 6+ years of relevant experience, disability claims experience preferred
    • 3+ years of formal or informal leadership experience
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, planning and organizational, problem solving, analytical, presentation, and listening skills
    • Strong leadership skills are required along with time management and decision making skills
    • Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality is essential
    Salary Range Information:
    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

    Salary Range:
    $ $123000 / year

    Time Off Program:
    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees dont accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
