    Description

    Welcome to our Team - Electrical Design Validation Engineer position at our company!

    We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Validation Engineer to be part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and testing prototype electrical systems and validation systems for upcoming consumer VR and AR products. We are looking for someone with diverse experience in embedded design, analog/mixed signal design, power systems, wearables, or low-power design.

    Responsibilities:
    • Execute validation and performance characterization through developing and implementing comprehensive test plans for each project phase.
    • Collaborate closely with design teams to align validation and characterization plans, defining priorities and execution strategies.
    • Validate power regulation circuits, signal integrity, power integrity, protocol compliance, audio, sensors, co-existing technologies, and ecosystem interoperability.
    • Provide expert support on root cause analysis and corrective actions for identified issues.
    • Monitor validation progress, prepare data, create technical documents, and communicate project status at design reviews.
    • Keep stakeholders informed of status updates and ensure resolution of all issues identified during validation tests.
    Required Qualifications:
    • 4+ years of experience with a degree in Digital System Design/Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
    • Hands-on experience in setting up and conducting automated or manual testing systems, including experiment conceptualization.
    • Proficiency in precision testing (RF, Analog, small-signal, etc.) and troubleshooting designs.
    • Experience in schematic and board design using tools like Cadence Orcad, Altium, or similar.
    • Familiarity with electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
    • Technical expertise in at least two consumer electronic areas like power electronics, signal integrity, battery management, RF, Audio, or sensor systems.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of VR/AR systems or low-power wearable electronic devices.
    • Programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C#, C++, C for system bring-up, debugging, and testing.
    • Experience in developing and coordinating test procedures in lab and factory setups for system assessment.
    • Capability to independently design full system prototypes and understand hardware system coexistence and interoperability tests.
