    Water/Waste Water Engineering Position at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT)

    Role Overview: JMT is on the lookout for a dedicated Water/Wastewater engineer keen on career growth to bolster its rapidly expanding Water/Wastewater consultant engineering division. The selected individual will be responsible for leading and organizing engineering tasks and projects related to water and wastewater, ensuring compliance with design standards, regulations, and processes. This role involves managing multiple design projects, creating and updating project schedules, as well as coordinating with a design team to meet project requirements effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle design tasks and project management
    • Collaborate with design teams on construction plans and specifications
    • Conduct design computations
    • Develop construction cost estimates
    • Engage in construction phase engineering services
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government agencies
    • Participate in business development activities like proposal writing

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Operate effectively in a fast-paced office environment
    • Proficient in hydraulic design, water/sewer design, and engineering economics
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with MS Office tools and design software like AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • 5-10 years' experience in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
    • Familiarity with permitting regulations

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineering License or ability to acquire one
    • Experience working with local clients
    • Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam

    Working Conditions:
