Position Summary:
Responsible for the management of workflow throughout all departments within a business. Optimize daily activities and performance of the business across the board.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist the business operations manager in planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business.
- Keep up to date with the current market trends and industry forecasts.
- Coordinates with different departments to achieve optimal work production across the board.
- Maintain an updated client, customer and supplier management system.
- Prepare reports for management review by compiling data pertaining to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization's internal processes.
- Monitor expenses and budget in line with the finance and accounts department.
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance.
- Train new hires as necessary and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Keep up to date with the current market trends and industry forecasts.
- Coordinates with different departments to achieve optimal work production across the board.
Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2 plus years of experience which demonstrates sound judgment and strong administrative skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively with mÃnimal supervision.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and writing communications skills.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree or a combination of education and/or experience in lieu of degree preferred
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working in an office setting, with long periods of time sitting.
- Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
Pay:
From $27.88 per hour
