• Evaluate potential new products or construction techniques to enhance profitability through thorough research and analysis.
• Supervise offsite budgets and conduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction by scrutinizing plans and refining specifications.
• Contribute to land purchase and sales decisions by offering budgetary estimates during due diligence processes.
• Manage breaches of contract by trade contractors effectively.
• Monitor and address discrepancies in costs to maintain financial stability.
• Offer assistance to accounts payable team members in resolving discrepancies between invoices and work order amounts.
• Generate management reports as necessary for informed decisionmaking.
• Collaborate in fostering a positive, motivating, and safe work environment for all staff.

• Complete understanding of construction drawings and contracts.
• Solid negotiating skills and a strong belief in fair business practices.
• 3+ years offsite purchasing experience in residential construction as well as knowledge of basic field construction methods and processes.
