About this role:


The AML Analyst will deliver a range of support and consultation services in the areas of risk mitigation, quality control, compliance, and anti-money laundering.


Responsibilities:


  • Investigate and assess alerts relating to potential money laundering risks in the organization.
  • Ensure efficient identification and monitoring of activities and transactions considered suspicious.
  • Ensure timely and efficient reporting of transactions considered suspicious.
  • Conduct a daily assessment of wire transfer and AML reports relating to potential suspicious activity.
  • Stay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviors, issues, policies, regulations, criminal typologies, industry best practices, and developing trends.
  • Accurately complete SARs and maintain case files for transactions deemed suspicious.
  • Assist with addressing queries from corresponding banks relating to money laundering matters.
  • Conduct proper investigation of money laundering alerts or transactions considered suspicious.
  • Help with AML compliance training on how to identify and report suspicious transactions.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and lead special projects as assigned.

Who you are:


  • Minimum of 1 year of related AML strategy experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong project management and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create effective presentations using Microsoft Office for reporting to management.
  • Ability to work both independently and with team members across lines of business.
  • Familiar with banking laws and regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, etc.

  • In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $62,000 $78,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package._
