    Description
    Summary
    Oversees and manages the residential or outpatient clinical program, supervises counselors and day-to-day therapeutic schedule of participants. Provides therapeutic services as needed.
    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Maintains a high level of knowledge of clinical and documentation standards as required by each applicable funding source (e.g. Medicaid, Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services)Prepares and reviews each program supervised for national accreditation
    • Provides clinical supervision for all clinical staff or those staff in roles of therapeutic contact with participants
    • Assures that peer review occurs and that results are used to improve the quality of care in each program
    • Plans and develops curriculum and participant treatment schedules
    • Reports to the Chief Operations Officer (COO)regarding the clinical performance of each staff as required input for the annual performance evaluation
    • Conducts weekly clinical meetings to discuss goals and objectives of the Agency, provides consultation, and to problem solve as needed
    • Serves as Intern Coordinator to include interview, supervision and documentation of interns
    • Assures that each staff member receives adequate instruction to perform clinical work and documentation successfully.

    In carrying out this duty:

    • Coordinates with Human Resources the training requirements for each level of clinical staff and manages staff assignments for such training
    • Develops ongoing training schedules within programs for training that is specific to roles required of individual staff members. (e.g. Training related to subspecialty diagnoses)Develops skills related to crisis management for each level of staff
    • Monitors the requirements of clinical records for each provider of service
    • Provides therapeutic services as required (amount and type of direct services should be arranged in planning with Supervisor)Provides on call services to ensure needs of program are met
    • Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn agency policy rules, regulations and procedures; participates in on-going in-service training and external training as required
    • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
    • Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    • Relevant Master's Degree with licensure (licensed as an LADC, LPC, LMFT or LCSW)
    • Four years of clinical experience, prefer experience with co-occurring disorders
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment, shows initiative, tact, and maintains effective working relationships with participants, staff, and the community
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
    • Five years mental health experience preferred
    • Previous supervisory or administrative experience preferred
