We are a busy Chiropractic facility looking to hire an onsite Medical Billing & Coding specialist with
3 to
5 years experience minimum.

Must have great communication skills and great with numbers. We are looking for a person that is dependable, has a positive attitude and is detail and task oriented.
NO BILLING SERVICE COMPANY'S PLEASE You must be able to do basic math without a calculator.
Responsibilities include...

Must be able to communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and help set them up with payment arrangements if needed.

Working A/R, insurance verification, insurance billing and collections, pre-authorizations, denials and appeals, posting and collection of payments, processing ERA payments, tracking collections and reimbursement, communicating with patients, assisting front desk, answering phones.

Communicating professionally with Personal Injury lawyers, case managers and scheduling MRI's.

Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret EOBs, Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physicians and staff, skilled in organization and reporting information that is accurate and complete, ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.

Must be a good communicator with your manager and team members to solve problems

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
