Shift:
Thursday & Friday - 7:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 7:00am - 7:00pm

What you will do:

The Production Technician Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Technicians/Support Technicians.

They will also be responsible for managing, improving, and reporting out on their section's performance related to reliability, production, quality, safety, and recognition.


  • Attend, participate and deliver in performance metrics review meetings
  • Escalate issues requiring additional resources to Maintenance and/or Engineering leadership
  • Track progress to manufacturing and Preventative maintenance schedule and take necessary action to ensure supply plan has been met including determining labor requirements and staffing levels daily
  • Lead teams to Preventative Maintenance and repair machine(s) efficiently
  • Partner with Stockroom to assure proper parts and quantities on hand for reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Partner with Engineering and support improvement projects, validation support, and enhance machine efficiencies.
  • Utilize the Stryker Production System (SPS) to improve performance including 6S, MDI, line balancing, process waste removal and standard work
  • Lead nonconformance investigations, and process records through quality management system
  • Ensure accountability of Team including training timeliness and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines
  • Manage Team's performance, including completing annual and midyear reviews

What you need:


  • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing cGMP environment or comparable experience required
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • Must be capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
  • Maneuver material handling devices such as pallet jacks and roll handling equipment
