Description
Maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Property Manager and or Maintenance Supervisor.
-DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Complete makeready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and or Property Manager.
- Complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
- Responsible for 24hour emergency maintenance service (oncall) as scheduled.
- Carry cell phone as required for oncall maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
- Responsible for alerting the Property Manager and or Maintenance Supervisor of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur.
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of all workrelated activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner. To be safety minded and knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and environmental hazards associated with products used in the work of the maintenance department, and of any hazards known or found to be present of the property. Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
Pay:
$ $23.16 per hour
