ASSOCIATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT - STRATEGIC PLANNING AND RECREATION SERVICES / GENERAL RECREATION & PLANNING / SACRAMENTO HEADQUARTERS
***The reporting location for this position is the Sacramento Headquarters. This position will work under the direction of the Environmental Program Manager I.


The Associate Landscape Architect is responsible for facilitating the preparation of the resources inventory, analysis, and land use and facilities planning for general plans, management plans, and recreation studies.

As required, the Associate Landscape Architect assists other planning team members in preparing materials, maps, and graphic illustrations.

This individual typically serves as a lead person or project manager for planning projects and is part of a multiple-disciplined team.

This individual will also prepare more detailed design plans as requested, including periodic travel to park units statewide.

Incumbent must be licensed by the State of California as a Landscape Architect.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

A California Class C Driver's License is required.

This position is designated as telework eligible. This position is remote centered.
