The dual study program at the Dual University of Baden-Württemberg (DHBW), located in Stuttgart, combines a scientific university degree with practical experience in a company (= Dual Partner).

It is divided into theory phases at the Dual University, Faculty of Engineering, and practical phases at LAPP. Through this alternating structure, students not only benefit from the theoretical knowledge, but also from the direct application in practice (= practice-integrated study).

The degree program Industrial Engineering, specialization Electrical Engineering, enables a broad field of activity in economic and technical functional areas - such as procurement and purchasing, controlling, logistics, development, product and project management, production, quality management, sales - in various industries.

The program lasts three years and concludes with the internationally recognized academic degree 'Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)'. The performance evaluation in the Bachelor's program at DHBW is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
