    Job Title: Sr. Controls Engineer

    Job Location: Auburn Hills, MI

    Job Description:

    •The controls engineer will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and

    •programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Transmissions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.

    •Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System

    •Community as primary interface.

    •Coordinating Controls Features development.

    •Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns with overall program

    •milestones and objectives.

    •Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and

    •Risk mitigation.

    •Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative

    •work environment.

    •Ensure rigorous validation of control functions to meet and exceed specified

    •requirements throughout the vehicle development cycle.

    •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other engineering units to drive the

    •development of cutting-edge control technology.

    •Drive continuous improvement initiatives in controls engineering processes,

    •methodologies, and technologies.

    Qualifications & Skills Required:

    1. As needed to work on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a

    2. proven record of working on his/her initiative and within a team delivering high-quality and

    3. robust technical solutions

    4. Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

    5. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience (2 years in automotive)

    6. Ability to work in an Agile environment.

    7. Previous experience as Controls/SW developer using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow, Embedded

    8. C, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus

    9. Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable.

    10. Familiarity with software development tools and debugging techniques.

    11. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.

    12. Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

    Compensation: $90, $95,000.00 per year
