    • The controls engineer will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and
    • programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Transmissions

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.
    • Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System
    • Community as primary interface.
    • Coordinating Controls Features development.
    • Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns with overall program
    • milestones and objectives.
    • Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and
    • Risk mitigation.
    • Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative
    • work environment.
    • Ensure rigorous validation of control functions to meet and exceed specified
    • requirements throughout the vehicle development cycle.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other engineering units to drive the
    • development of cutting-edge control technology.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in controls engineering processes,
    • methodologies, and technologies

    Qualifications & Skills Required:
    1. As needed to work on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a2. proven record of working on his/her initiative and within a team delivering high-quality and3. robust technical solutions4. Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.5. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience (2 years in automotive)6. Ability to work in an Agile environment.7. Previous experience as Controls/SW developer using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow, Embedded8. C, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus9. Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable.10. Familiarity with software development tools and debugging techniques.11. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.12. Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.


    Compensation:
