Description

• Receive and handle emergency and nonemergency calls efficiently
• Resolve problems and address requests by conveying information or offering solutions
• Manage orders for products and deliveries
• Prioritize calls based on urgency
• Coordinate and dispatch field units to appropriate locations using radio, phone, or computer
• Track the route and status of field units to organize their schedule
• Provide field units with relevant information on orders, traffic, and requirements
• Record information accurately in the computer system and maintain detailed logs

• Proven background as a dispatcher or in a similar role
• Proficient in technology with knowledge of relevant systems like CAD
• Fast and accurate typing skills with experience in data entry
• Familiarity with emergency procedures and guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Active listening ability with sound judgement and critical thinking
• High school diploma
